An Introduction to Our Firm
The Stuart Smith Law Firm was formed with one goal in mind — personal service. In the same way that a general counsel oversees all of the legal affairs of a company, we strive to do the same for high net worth clients and their families. Our firm wants to be the first call that a client makes when a legal matter arises. We will be there to provide legal advice, handle the matter or associate with a specialist to handle it if we cannot.
Our firm primarily focuses its practice on legal issues that affect high net worth individuals and their families, including estate planning and probate, business law, oil and gas and real estate.
We have handled a variety of transactional and litigation-related issues within each of these practice areas. These include, among others, the preparation of wills, trusts, family limited partnerships, independent and dependent probate administrations, corporate formation, governance, transactions and mergers, the leasing, acquisition and divestiture of oil, gas, and mineral interests and the leasing, acquisition and divestiture of real estate.
